Northern New England’s Green Design Center

Our mission is to provide options for people who are concerned about the environment both inside and outside of their home but don’t want to sacrifice beauty, comfort, convenience or quality. Our strict guidelines for the products we carry ensure that we are working only with businesses who promote positive social and environmental change while producing high quality products.

We carry a broad selection of products for your home. In our Green Design Center you will find FSC certified, sustainably forested hardwood flooring, cork flooring, strandwoven bamboo flooring and Marmoleum, a natural linoleum. Of course we also have gorgeous all natural wool carpets.  Zero VOC and Low VOC paints and finishes, natural window treatments, and recycled content tiles and counters are among the items you will also find here that help protect your indoor air quality as well as the planet.

To complement these offerings, we carry housewares and home décor that is sustainable and fair trade, organic mattresses, non-toxic cleaning products and many more items to help make your house a (green) home. You will find more information about these as you explore our site.
